[-------] Savannah's leading, modern hotels. [----------] beautiful and historic park "John[-------]" First Square of the town and for [------] center of Colonial activities. Gen. [--------]el Greene, the Revolutionary War hero, and his son lie buried under the imposing monument erected in his honor. Here, also, in 1861, with patriotic fervor, the Confederate flag was first raised. East of the Square is Christ Church, established in 1733, the year Gen. Oglethorpe landed here and established the Colony of Georgia."
